Interested in the Outback life yet cannot make the actual trip to the desert? Try watching the Australian Outback Spectacular, a dinner show that depicts the rugged lifestyle of authentic Australian stockmen in an awesome show complete with stockhorses and bush vehicles. An Australian barbecue meal is also served afterwards.

A short ride along the Duranbah Road is the Tropical Fruit World, which has theme park attractions in the form of boat and train rides, as well as an animal park. However, people from all over the state and country come to Tropical Fruit World to sample some of the tastiest tropical fruits and tour the farms within this extensive establishment.

However, do not limit yourself to only the more popular Gold Coast attractions. A little exploration will yield some of the hidden gems of the Gold Coast, such as the Haunted House along Surfers Paradise Boulevard. With the use of special efforts, optical illusions, and horror displays you will surely have the time of your life as you encounter the creatures you are most scared of.
